Tropina is a bold, tropical coconut water brand built for the social generation. In a crowded beverage market dominated by minimalist wellness cues, we needed to create a brand that broke the mold, one that felt loud, flavorful, and worth bringing to the hangout. Tropina’s mission was to be more than just hydration; it wanted to own the vibe. I developed a brand identity bursting with bold color, retro-pop energy, and packaging designed for maximum shelf appeal and group photo potential. Tropina is a drink brand that feels like a personality, not a product, built to move off shelves and into every hangout.

BRAND GOAL

Tropina was built to shake up the sleepy coconut water category with something loud, fun, and full of personality. The goal wasn’t just to stand out on shelf, but to feel like the life of the party: bold, punchy, and totally unforgettable. We set out to create a brand that ditches the wellness cliches and taps into something louder, brighter, and way more fun. With retro-inspired typography, juicy color palettes, and copy that brings the vibe, Tropina feels more like a social ritual than a health drink.

The design direction for Tropina centers on high-energy visuals and unapologetic personality. We created a brand identity that bursts with life pairing juicy color, retro-inspired typography, and playful layout choices to command attention on shelf and on social. The custom wordmark nods to vintage soda culture while feeling fresh and ownable, and layered textures bring a tactile, sun-drenched vibe to the packaging system. Punchy copy lines like Hydrate the Hangout inject voice and attitude, reinforcing Tropina’s role as more than just a drink, but a social essential. This brand is made to move, made to mingle, and be remembered.
